Technopol and La Villette join forces to develop the ZUT concept - Zone d'Urgence Temporaire Artistique - throughout France !
From June 18th to September 26th, 2021, Technopol and La Villette are joining forces to develop an artistic concept: Zone d’Urgence Temporaire Artistique throughout the entire territory of France!
The ZUTs – an exceptional program supported by the French Ministry of Culture – organize and promote the creation of ephemeral outdoor venues to support a gradual resumption of artistic and festive activity during the summer of 2021.
This program, conceived as a decompression chamber capable of adapting to the health constraints of the moment linked to the organization of outdoor shows, offers artists and the public the possibility of meeting around a cultural program accessible to all.
Thus the ZUT, in reference to the Zutist movement which, in the middle of the XIXth century with Arthur Rimbaud, Charles Cros, Paul Verlaine and others, impelled a kind of laboratory open to poetic and utopian experiments, propose moments of sharing and artistic inventions. Around the electronic music, are invited many disciplines such as visual arts, performance, graffiti, digital arts, hip hop dance, scenography … for a summer of creating innovative and flamboyant.
This ambitious initiative makes it possible to federate a network of professional partners throughout the country who share common ethical and social values. Each ZUT commits, through a charter, to respect the health constraints in force, to pay the invited artists, to guarantee parity, mixity, and salary equity in their programming and within the organizing teams.
Finally, these creative venues are also encouraged to reduce the carbon footprint of their events as much as possible!
