The multi-generational Haitian band Lakou Mizik and Grammy-winning electronic music artist Joseph Ray teamed up. Together, they announced their upcoming album ‘Leave the Bones’. The album will be out on August 6th. It has already garnered support from NPR, BBC Radio 3, KCRW, KEXP, CRACK, Afropunk, Songlines, and many more.
The remix from Henrik is actually taken from this album and is the second. With it, he builds on the original melancholic tones via a jazzy chord progression and a dissonant hard-hitting hook. It focuses on one woman’s search for support and meaning. You can already buy and stream it HERE!
