Joe T Vannelli began his career in 1978 in a club of the time called Si or Si in Milan and as a salesman in a record store importing dance music, first at Goody Music / Fiorucci and then at GoGò in Picerno. Later he also worked for some private radios such as Radio Metropoli, Radio Milano Ticinese, GBR International, Studio Elle-GBR, RIN, Radio Deejay with various programs dedicated to dance. He studied as an actor at the CTA with Nicoletta Ramorino in Milan and became passionate about dubbing in the same school, lending his voice to soap operas and cartoons, becoming the official voice of Johnatan adventure dimension and Grand Prix on Mediaset networks. It is also chosen for some advertising campaigns.
As a DJ he was resident for more than ten years of the After Dark disco in Milan (1980/1991) from 1991 he became resident of various party / raves such as TuttiFrutti, Exogroove, New York Bar, arriving in the autumn of 2000 to create his own one- night Supalova Club , at first at Tocqueville in Milan, then at Old Fashion Milan for a long time, passing from Desade and then closing in recent years at Shocking until 2014, generating a series of live compilations still in production. It quickly became a reference event in the Italian house scene, also thanks to the live radio broadcast first on Radio Italia Network, then moved to Radio Deejay and then to m2o and to the summer and winter tour around the peninsula and in 2012 to the Sankeys in Ibiza.
He also released records under the name JT Company. The first single “Don’t deal with us” was released in 1989 and immediately entered the UK dance chart, followed by other singles and collaborations such as Joe T Vannelli (Asha remix, remix for the Banderas group, Joe Roberts, Bobby Brown etc.) In 1993 the single “Play With The Voice” is released with the vocal participation of Csilla. The song boasts various remixes, including those by Masters at Work , Paul van Dyk and Joey Beltram ; in 1995, again with Csilla, he releases the single “Voices In Harmony”. “Play with Vannelli” and then “Night in Budapest” which in 2015 becomes with the collaboration of the DJ “Hot Since 82” a new song entitled “The End” remaining first in the electronic charts for several weeks. In 1994 he published “Sweetest day of may” with Janice Robinson and obtained the first cover of the most important UK dance magazine of the time, obtaining world tours that put him in contact with several foreign DJs artists. In 1995 he launched on the market with his own label “Children” by Robert Miles , which became the best-selling Italian dance instrumental song in the world.”Joe T Vannelli’s first album, containing both new productions and old hits.
