For the eighth time, the city gates of PAROOKAVILLE open, greeting about 225,000 inhabitants for an extraordinary weekend in the City of Dreams.
The preparations for Germany’s largest Electronic Music Festival are well underway, with over 300 DJs on more than ten stages celebrating every type of Electronic Music with the city’s residents from July 21st to 23rd. Our second Artist Announcement Week now heralds not one, but two tremendous headliner debuts for fans, with Kygo and Alok.
Kygo’s breakthrough single “Firestone” impacted a whole genre. His multi-platinum hits “It Ain’t Me” (featuring Selena Gomez) and “Higher Love” have combined for astronomical streaming figures, and sold-out stadium shows on every continent, as well as numerous headlining appearances at the world’s biggest festivals, have cemented Kygo’s status as a global superstar. This summer, he’ll be able to cross PAROOKAVILLE, Germany’s largest Electronic Music Festival, off his gig bucket list!

Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike are the most well-known combo in the EDM sector. Their renowned festival performances are legendary, and their songs frequently become festival anthems with cumulative streams in the billions. For almost a decade, this quirky brother duo has been a fixture in the Top 5 of the DJ Mag Top 100, including many No. 1s. Alok, a Brazilian DJ and producer, is one of the most popular performers in Brazil and a global “Ambassador” for Brazilian Bass Music. This rockstar and family guy also utilizes his talent and reputation to help humanitarian causes. Alok performed alongside a group of indigenous musicians on the rooftop of the United Nations headquarters building in New York City to kick off the 2022 Global Climate Change Week. While Corona kept him away in 2020, Alok is now making his first visit to the festival city.

Vini Vici, an Israeli DJ duo, has been a pioneering force in Psytrance for over a decade, gaining over admirers like as Trance veteran Armin Van Buuren, who compliments their style: “Very few performers have such a well-defined, distinctive sound.” Vini Vici were the first Psytrance headliners to appear at major EDM events. As the festival’s headliner on Saturday, they bring their unique flair back to the PAROOKAVILLE Mainstage.
And, while Alle Farben will be back for his sixth appearance at the festival’s seventh edition, this Parookaville regular will also be making a tiny debut this year! This will be his first performance on the Parookaville Mainstage, so the festival’s largest audience can look forward to appreciating his vibrant sound, which will be joined onstage by real musicians.
Friday will see the 1LIVE Radio presentation of a brand new festival day featuring the best in House sounds at Bill’s Factory. Along with Alok, fans will be able to rejoice with British hit guarantor Joel Corry.
Dr. Peacock will perform on Friday, D-Block and S-te-Fan will perform on Saturday, and Rooler will perform on Sunday. On Friday, Kayzo and Slander will blast bass music through the Cloud Factory, while Klangkuenstler will unleash a Hardtechno storm.
More acts will be revealed on the festival’s internet platforms during our 2nd Announcement Week, which runs from February 7th to February 9th.
