This Sunday, May 3rd, we will be doing quite a special live, organized by Provocative Women for Music. From 3pm, we will be lucky to listen to 5 great artists from the comfort of our home.
What exactly is Provocative Women for Music? The idea came from the PWFM (collective created in 2015), which realized that the events they organize were almost 100% composed of men…
That’s why this web radio has started to develop events that give many women the chance to express themselves. Indeed, “It is a question here of starting – or continuing – to consider the place of women in music, but more broadly in society, and to take advantage of it to lay some foundations in a respectful and benevolent atmosphere.” Their motto: let’s free and feminize french culture!
Step by step, it has become a media, and nowadays, it aspires to become a real collaborative platform. Its goal is simple: to promote young talents, emerging producers and independent collectives by giving them access to a space of diffusion and a greater visibility while relying on this solid community. Plus, Provocative Women for Music promotes youth, diversity and creativity. Later on, don’t be surprised if you see this media develop its own labels, parties, events, as it is well on its way.
