Clubbing Trends 58
Welcome
“Dance with the waves, move with the sea, let the rhythm of the water set your soul free.”
It’s time to go on a cruise with us here on Clubbing TV! Welcome to Clubbing Trends on the world’s first and only 24/7 lifestyle and dance music channel. I’m Gianna Llanes and allow me to take you on an exploration across the waters today as we talk about five cruise festivals around the world that you must attend! Because you know what they say, “Cruising does the soul good!”
Groove Cruise
Let’s begin with the world’s premier electronic music cruise, Groove Cruise!
They actually have three different experiences coming up: Groove Island 2019, Groove Cruise Miami 2020, and Groove Cruise China 2020.
So, what’s this party all about? Groove Cruise offers next level stages, destination events, DJ activations, and theme parties to make sure they are nothing but utterly unique!
On the event’s website, one attendee even describe why he believes Groove Cruise blows EDC + and Coachella out of the water, citing the cruise’s 21 plus rule, zero responsibility law, 96 hours of non-stop music, partying with your favorite DJs, 24-hour room service of unlimited gourmet food, themed days, and a stop on a private island being some of his favorite reasons why Groove Cruise is truly one of a kind!
Previous artists that performed at their events include Benny Benassi, Cosmic Gate, Laidback Luke, Kaskade, Hot Since 92, Lost Frequencies, and MK!

Holy Ship
For our next one? Holy Ship! Which is an annual electronic dance music festival celebrating its ninth year from January 22-26 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in 2020!
Diplo, Claude VonStroke, Big Wild, Chris Lake, Justin Martin, Gorgon City, Lane 8, Madeon, NGHTMRE, Slander, and What So Not are just some of the names you’ll be able to catch at one of the most eclectic lineups to date – and you can count on surprise performers as well! The tropical festival will also be welcoming curated event takeovers from recognized party brands such as NGHTMRE & Slander’s Gud Vibrations, Snails & 12th Planet’s The Royal Humble, Gorgon City’s Realm, Desert Hearts, Dirtybird Pool Party, Fool’s Gold Rap Party, and more.
Something cool about Holy Ship? They actually have a non-profit division called Positive Legacy, which holds a silent auction during the event. The proceeds are then donated to Positive Legacy service projects, which is a charity committed to integrating live music and service by taking actions that positively impact people and the environment in the communities they visit.
Wanna get prepped for Holy Ship! Wrecked 2020? Here’s a bit of a teaser to get you excited! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3D3ZVjn9kI&feature=youtu.be&list=PLiA50_3IMhHM46-P-_Ob5B1EiK2P6aLot
Why don’t you give us another idea on a charity you think music festivals should start donating to!

Shipsomnia
A new chapter is coming soon for Shipsomnia! This is the tale of the Kraken and you can become part of the epic story!
Shipsomnia is Europe’s first music and arts festival cruise, taking on the “Tale of The Kraken” theme as they set sail from Barcelona, Sete, France, Ibiza then back to Barcelona. Previously, they’ve also travelled from Singapore then to a private island in Phuket.
Some of the celebration’s previous performers include: Friction, Mark Knight, Netsky, Ookay, Pendulum, Shiba San, Technasia, UMEK, Yousef, DJ Sneak, and Todd Terry – to name a few!
Shipsomnia also offers a five-day unmissable trip as they’ve gained an international following that features excursions with artists, secret villa parties, casinos, and the carnival-like ‘Shipsomnia Ball.’
Of course, our words are never enough to describe the wonder of an event like this!
Here’s the 2016 aftermovie! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFVDfNunkkE&feature=youtu.be
And because this was one of the firsts to pioneer cruise parties in Europe, which location would you love to set sail from in the entire continent?

It’s the Ship
I’ve actually been to this next one, and let me tell you – it was amazing!
It’s the Ship is Asia’s biggest festival at Sea! Five stars for this one!
This year, It’s the Ship is turning 6 years old, so they’re inviting all of you music-lovers to set sail the high seas from Singapore on board a luxurious cruise with non-stop music, thrilling side activities, and crazy pop up parties from November 13-15 this year! In their words, “You can also bet that something SHIPTASTIC is coming your way, as we embark on our craziest adventure yet. Be a part of the family now and have your own experience of a lifetime on board Asia’s largest festival at sea!
The lineup this year has yet to be announced, but some of the artists featured last year include Cesqeaux, Moksi, Loopers, Droeloe, Helena Legend, Lvndscape, Le Youth, and Myrne!
The cabins onboard are worth every dime as well as they include: full 3-day and 2-night accommodation on it’s the ship Singapore, a round trip cruise from Singapore and back, 24-hour dining at selected restaurants, free drinks (coffee, tea, juice, and water only), entry to it’s the ship Singapore 2019 events, and access to general facilities on the ship such as the basketball court, mini golf course, water slides, and many more!
Here’s the 2018 aftermovie to tell you a little bit more about this spectacular event! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-RqUEfOx-I&feature=youtu.be
Because it’s located in Asia, tell us what Asian country’s culture you admire, but have yet to go to!

The Ark
And last but not the least, let’s talk about The Ark. Not the one from years ago, the one you can book tickets for – now!
You can expect The Ark to happen from May 13 to 16 next year, providing an incredible voyage that features stunning destinations like Venice, Koper, and Zadar.
Travel, voyage, and relax as onboard the luxurious MSC Orchestra, there are multiple stages, along with activities like mini golf, arcades, spas, and restaurants. The MSC Orchestra alone is one of the biggest cruise ships in the entire world – as it can hold 2500 people!
In 2018, some of the Ark’s headliners included: CamelPhat, Faithless, Nic Fanciulli, Patrick Topping, and Tchami! Adriatique, Art Department, Dda Life, Luciano, and Yousef were there as well!
