A good news for all delegates, the Amsterdam Dance Event will come back to its home base on the Amsterdam canals, Felix Meritis.
Due to Felix Meritis’s two years renovation, the ADE had to do a break and found a temporary home in DeLaMar Theater. It felt like the Amsterdam Dance Event was loosing a little bit of its soul by establishing its headquarters in such a bigger and more ‘business like’ place.
But the end is over, Felix is brand new and we are now ready to network next to the canal for the 25th edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event!
“Felix Meritis is one of the most iconic cultural landmarks on the Amsterdam canals. Hosting ADE at such a location has made it possible for the event to develop and grow into the gathering it is today” states Meindert Kennis, director of ADE. “The result of Felix’s renovation is absolutely spectacular and its re-opening couldn’t come at a better moment. It enables us to return to our “home base” for our 25th birthday, which makes this edition extra special” adds co-director Jan-Willem van de Ven.
The Festival/Conference has grown into the leading global gathering for electronic music professionals and fans. From 300 delegates and 30 performing DJs and 3 locations to 400,000 people, 1,000 events, 2,500 artists, 600 speakers and 200 venues, the ADE is the place to be in October.
