It's a heartbroken but inevitable news, Tomorrowland 2020 has been officially cancelled. The city of Boom won't host the people of Tomorrowland this year.
The Covid-19 strikes again. 400 000 people coming from 75 different countries were supposed to meet , dance, love and party for three days, two weekends in a row this July in Boom, Belgium.
Tomorrowland explains : “With a lot of pain in our hearts, we have to inform you that Tomorrowland cannot take place in 2020. We understand and support the governmental order that has just been issued. The 16th edition of Tomorrowland will take place in the summer of 2021 (July 16–18 and July 23–25).”
The mayor of Boom already called to cancel the festival few weeks ago but the organizers were still hoping for a better outcome.
Today, health comes first, especially when you are one of the biggest festival in the world bringing many nations all together in one place, sharing hugs, high fives and drinks.
