Tomorrowland Around the World digital festival promises to be a masterpiece, quite different from the other virtual events. Here is what to expect.
Tomorrowland is known for being the annual event not to miss! This year, if we can’t proceed normally, an innovative digital festival will take place. On July 25 and 26, world-known artists will perform. You will have access to the digital festival, but not just any. This one will be a unique form of visual entertainment using the latest technologies in 3D design, video production, gaming and special effects. More than that, fireworks, laser shows, a realistic crowd and sound effects will be featured. Thus, 3D decor and artist performances will be combined to create a spectacular show.
Besides, the organizers have worked with different actors to make this possible. Indeed, the multidisciplinary creative studio Dogstudio helped creating the whole platform. StYpe for its part provided a cutting-edge camera tracking technology to achieve real-time augmented reality. Without forgetting Epic Games and its Unreal Engine that featured photorealistic rendering, dynamic physics and effects and lifelike animation.
On Tomorrowland’s Instagram account, the team posted some glimpses of the 8 different stages that will be held. In all, more than 60 artists have been recorded on 4 green screen studios around the world.
The Mainstage
On this stage, participants will be able to attend superstars’ performances. Among them, Katy Perry recently announced her participation, as well as David Guetta, Martin Garrix, or Afrojack, and lots of others.
The team has worked day and night to build new 3D island Pāpiliōnem environment. This magical island is shaped like a butterfly and features beaches, night skies, mountains, forest sunsets. Festival visitors will be able to navigate easily through this environment but also to communicate with each other.
Core Stage
This one will be surrounded by nature and the artists’ deep sounds will literally captivate visitors. On this occasion, talented artists are gonna be there, including Charlotte de Witte, Adam Beyer, the duo Adriatique or Joris Voorn, to name a few.
Cave Stage
This stage will give you access to a magical hideway where everyone can express themselves and blossom through the power of music.
The Cave stage will welcome incredible artists such as Netsky, Carnage, Eptic, or the duo Yellow Claw.
Elixir Stage
Great figures will perform on this bewitching setting. Among them, Robin Schulz, EDX, the duo Cat Dealers, or Fedde Le Grand.
