ANTS is known for its innovative and high-concept approach to music events, and this summer’s season at Ushuaïa Ibiza is set to take things to a whole new level. With cutting-edge music and immersive productions on an unprecedented scale, ANTS is sure to be the talk of the town.
The brand has established itself as a platform for up-and-coming talent, and now ANTS is partnering with Beatport for a competition called ANTS: NEXT GEN, offering aspiring DJs the chance to perform on the iconic poolside stage at Ushuaïa Ibiza. The winner will also receive expert mentorship, a production masterclass, and DJ essentials.
The competition judges are some of the industry’s leading DJs and experts, including ANTS 10 YEARS STRONG residents Andrea Oliva, Chelina Manuhutu, SYREETA, Francisco Allendes, and Nic Fanciulli, as well as key members of The Night League, Ushuaïa, and Hï Ibiza. The competition promises to be a fantastic opportunity for aspiring DJs to take their careers to the next level and is sure to be one of the highlights of the summer in Ibiza.

On top of everything else, the victorious contestant will be awarded a set of Pioneer HDJ-X10 headphones and will be given a lesson by one of Pioneer DJ’s specialists to help them optimize their use of the latest DJ gear. Additionally, Beatport Group is providing a six-month subscription to Beatport Streaming Advanced, a year-long subscription to Loopcloud Studio, as well as Plugin Boutique Scaler 2, Vengeance Sound VPS Avenger, and an Excite Audio Lifeline Console.
To become the next big thing in the house and techno scene, all you have to do is create a 30-minute mix that fits with ANTS’ signature style, and then upload it to Soundcloud before the entry deadline of midnight (CET) on Monday, May 8. You can find the entry guidelines HERE
After the launch of the competition, the ANTS Soundcloud profile will host all the mixes submitted for three weeks. The judging panel for the ANTS: NEXT GEN competition will evaluate the mixes based on three important factors, which include the overall number of listens, the number of likes, and expert opinions. On 17 May, the top 10 entries will be announced before the ultimate winner is declared on 31 May.
This presents an uncommon chance for emerging artists to showcase their skills at the pinnacle of electronic music and join the ANTS community, which is one of the most influential groups in underground electronic music. To learn more about how to participate, go HERE
