Originally scheduled for November 2026, UNTOLD Dubai has announced its return from March 19 to 21, 2027, at Dubai Parks and Resorts. The four-month postponement is being presented by organizers as an opportunity to take the festival’s already impressive artistic and production ambitions to even greater heights.
Having established its presence in the Middle East, UNTOLD Dubai is now revising its calendar. The festival, initially set to take place in November 2026, will now welcome its audience from March 19 to 21, 2027. More than a simple change of dates, the decision reflects the organizers’ determination to further develop an event whose ambitions now extend well beyond music.
After all, UNTOLD is not simply looking to replicate the formula that made it successful in Romania. Since arriving in the United Arab Emirates, the festival has been working to create an experience of its own, where electronic music meets pop, spectacular performances, and immersive entertainment. Diversity and spectacle will undoubtedly be at the heart of the experience!
A Festival That Thinks Big
To understand the ambitions behind the upcoming edition, we only need to look at the figures from the previous one. According to the organizers, more than 190,000 festivalgoers attended the event, spread across six stages featuring over 100 artists.
Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, MEDUZA, Alan Walker, J Balvin, and YUNGBLUD were among the headliners, reflecting a lineup deliberately designed to embrace a wide range of musical genres. This diversity highlights the festival’s willingness to explore different musical worlds, offering something for every taste while bringing together audiences from different backgrounds. It is a particularly relevant approach in today’s festival landscape, and one that deserves recognition for an event of this magnitude!
With its next edition, UNTOLD aims to take things even further. The postponement should allow organizers to develop new stage productions, expand the international lineup, and introduce entirely new festival areas within Dubai Parks and Resorts.
The choice of venue is an integral part of this strategy. With its theme parks, hotels, and entertainment facilities, the destination offers the opportunity to create an experience that extends far beyond the music stages. It is another way for UNTOLD to maintain its position among the world’s biggest festivals.
Four More Months to Raise the Bar
However, this change of schedule raises an interesting question: just how far can UNTOLD Dubai push the boundaries of the festival format?
As major international events compete to deliver monumental stage designs, prestigious lineups, and immersive experiences, production has become just as important a selling point as the artists themselves. And UNTOLD clearly understands this.
For Bogdan Buta, Founder and CEO of UNTOLD Universe, the revised schedule should provide the time needed to assemble a strong international lineup and develop productions that meet the audience’s expectations. An ambitious promise, especially considering how high UNTOLD has already set the bar. When a festival consistently delivers on such a grand scale, surpassing previous editions becomes an increasingly demanding challenge.
It remains to be seen how these ambitions will translate into reality, but we have little doubt that the visual experience will be spectacular. No artists have been announced for the 2027 edition yet, although organizers have promised further updates in the coming months.
Considering the tremendous success of the 2026 edition, which brought together artists from a wide variety of musical backgrounds, expectations are naturally high for another outstanding lineup!
