This is our Twitter overview of the week! What is the scene up to? Which DJ beef is trending? You will know everything!
- Don’t be a bully
Hey big DJs, here's a simple guide to know if you're a bully:
If you talk about a phenomenon or trend then you're voicing an opinion.
If you single out a single person as the issue then you're bullying them (even if you dress it up as concern about a phenomenon or trend).

2. Or the end of smelly hair
Can’t smoke in Berlin clubs anymore. Pretty much the end of civilisation.

3. Or “heroes” & “prodigies”
It’s crazy just how many DJs are “pushing the boundaries” of their respective genres as per their bios

4. Tech house DJ 101
Hidden rule of all tech house DJs: Only when you have secured a Beatport top 5 is when you may DJ with sunglasses.

5. You get what you get…
I'm not advocating for actively sabotaging your own career, but one thing I will say is every fan I meet now are genuinely smart, interesting people who I would totally be friends with irl. At the peak of my career every fan I met was a fucking idiot

you have to be insufferable to dissect a DJ set like this, has he ever considered that maybe DJs select things by what they’re feeling in the moment and don’t think about it this hard lol. also the audacity to claim you’re a better selector that mf BEN UFO the GOAT…smh https://t.co/cutRy1Rkl5

if some slightly more understated genre of dance music becomes the next big thing some DJs are going to have a really hard time explaining the videos of themselves playing happy hardcore edits of shania twain two years prior

8. Not for the TOP 100
You meet other musicians and get to know them and realize that making music is increasingly becoming a privilege for people who can afford to do this as a "job"

If you know you can't handle yourself when under the influence at a festival please stay the fuck home. We don't want to see fights that ruin the vibes for everyone.
