In order to celebrate “The Godfather of House,” or how people know him, Frankie Knuckles, the man who started underground movement in Chicago, artist Eric Kupper presents a new album of “Director’s Cut.”
Frankie Knuckles is known for working with Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson, passing away five years ago in Chicago. His writing partner, Eric Kupper, has worked on over 116 Billboard #1 Dance Records, many of which are Frankie’s works as well. They established themselves as “Director’s Cut’ back in 2011 and is now set to present various mixes from their time!
“Director’s Cut” includes tracks from Marshall Jefferson, Inaya Day, Candi Staton, The Sunburst Band and Hardsoul, and of course, a few Frankie Knuckles originals. Frankie’s #1 single, “The Whistle Song” is included as well!
