Ibiza 2025: only 22% of DJs booked are women.

Over the past weeks, we’ve manually reviewed every announced lineup from Ibiza clubs, using both official Instagram posts and Ibiza Spotlight listings.
After removing duplicate entries, the numbers are striking: out of 980 booked artists, 214 are women or non-binary, compared to 766 men.

That’s 22% female representation across all event types.

We acknowledge a small margin of error, as this is the result of manual, non-automated research. But the scale of the imbalance remains unmistakable.

This figure isn’t just a statistic, it reflects a structural reality in one of the world’s clubbing capitals.
The talent exists. From local scenes to global headliners, there is no shortage of artists ready to take the stage.

What’s needed is the will to open the space.

After reviewing over 28 full lineups (some are still TBA so we didn’t include them), here are the three events with the highest share of women or non-binary DJs booked in 2025:

🥇 Pyramid at Amnesia – 33.3%
🥈 Francis Mercier presents Solèy @ Chinois – 28.6%
🥉 Defected at Pacha – 28%

Less Than 15% Women on Lineups

These are the events where women and non-binary artists make up under 15% of the total bookings:

  • Marco Carola at Pacha – 9.7%

  • Martinez Brothers at Hï – 12.1%

  • Bedouin at Club Chinois – 12.1%

  • Mëstiza at Hï – 13.2%

In these heavily male-dominated lineups, female bookings are the exception rather than the rule — often playing earlier slots or side rooms.

Between 15% and 20%: Some Effort, Still Far Off

This group includes events where female/non-binary representation falls between 15% and 18%.

  • Do Not Sleep at Amnesia – 15.4%

  • BLOND:ISH at Pacha – 16.1%

  • Sonny Fodera at Pacha – 16.7%

  • Kygo at Ushuaïa – 16.7%

  • One More Time at Eden – 17.6%

  • Camelphat at Pacha – 18.2%

  • Flower Power at Pacha – 18.2%

  • Metamorfosi by Joseph Capriati at Hï – 18.6%

  • Paradise at UNVRS – 18.8%

  • Elrow at UNVRS – 18.9%

Here, some female acts do appear occasionally even headlining  but male artists continue to dominate the bulk of the lineup.

Approaching the 20% Mark

These events hover near the symbolic 20% threshold, with some showing signs of balanced curation:

  • David Guetta at UNVRS – 19.0%

  • Circoloco at DC10 – 19.7%

  • Mixmag Sessions at Amnesia – 20.0%

  • PIV at Cova Santa – 20.0%

  • Glitterbox at Hï – 20.7%

Many of these lineups reflect a more deliberate attempt at inclusion, even if they haven’t yet reached parity.

Above 23%: Encouraging Signs

Some parties do surpass 23% female/non-binary representation, standing out as more balanced and forward-thinking models:

  • LoveJuice at Ibiza Rocks – 23.3%

  • Black Coffee at Hï – 25.3%

  • Carl Cox at UNVRS – 27.3%

  • ANTS at Ushuaïa – 27.4%

  • RESISTANCE at Amnesia – 27.7%

In many cases, this progress is thanks to strong curatorial vision, guest-focused residencies, or artists who actively champion diversity on their lineups.

Final Thought

The current average across all lineups sits at 22% women or non-binary DJs booked for the 2025 Ibiza season.

It’s a slight improvement over 2023 but disappointingly flat compared to the early positive signals in 2024.

The question is no longer “where are the women?”
The real question is: who is actually giving them space on stage?
