Eastern Europe’s biggest dance festival happening from August 1-4, decides to advocate for the importance of environmental sustainability
Untold, which is Eastern Europe’s biggest dance festival happening from August 1-4 at Cluj-Napoca, decides to use their following to advocate for the importance of environmental sustainability through an international recycling competition entitled “Show You Can” in association with Ursus Breweries.
The contest features the likes of David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Solomun, Tale Of Us, Andy C, Bastille, and Oscar And The Wolf for their all-star lineup, where they invite the public to submit their ideas for innovative uses of recycled materials. The winning project will receive a total of 10,000 euros and a trip to the festival itself complete with travel and accommodations. Also, the winner and four other finalists will spend five days in Brussels for an internship at the European Parliament in the European Parliament’s Committee on the Environment, Public Health, and Food Safety. And, as an added bonus, the winning project will be displayed at the festival grounds of Untold itself!
Untold General Manager Bogdan Buta explains their reasoning behind creating this contest, saying, “We are delighted to launch with our partners this beautiful project aimed at informing and raising the awareness of young people on selective recycling. We hope to gather as many ideas as possible and the most ambitious to be in the festival.”
