The New Venue

And just like every 21st birthday, Ultra Music Festival is making sure they’re celebrating theirs in the grandest of ways, by moving to a new venue!

That’s definitely the second reason why you have to go to Ultra Music Festival this year, because they are moving to the hstoric Virginia Key Beach Park and Miami Marine Stadium Flex Park.

In the words of the organizers: “We are excited to announce that the City of Miami has agreed to a deal to relocate Ultra Music Festival to the beautiful and historic Virginia Key. The new venue will allow the festival to evolve into its new, larger home, ultimately creating a more enjoyable experience for all festival attendees. We look forward to a long-term and mutually beneficial relationship with our partners at the City of Miami and Historic Virginia Key Beach Park as we commemorate keeping Ultra in the City of Miami.’

Why did Ultra Music Festival decide to move? Well, they wanted to extend their parties to until 2am because of the increased capacity! Plus, both venues are absolutely extraordinary, which Ultra Music Festival wants their attendees to admire, but also learn to preserve! Around $20 million of the proceeds will go to build Miami-Dade County’s first African American Museum!

The Incredible Aftermovie

The last reason may not seem that fantastic, but when you feast your eyes on the visuals, you’ll understand why.

You have to go to Ultra Music Festival to be a part of their incredible aftermovie!

A few months ago, in order to release the announcement of their 2019 tickets going on sale, Ultra Music Festival revealed the aftermovie for the 20th anniversary where filmmaker Final Kid captures the party that was held at Bayfront Park. The immense detail was filmed with Red 8K cameras in 4K resolution and exhibits the monumental production, star-studded lineup, and breathtaking scenery of the party.

The fourteen minute film showcases stages Megastructure, Main Stage, and Arcadia Spectacular’s Spider, while we also are able to spot celebrities and artists like Will Smith, G-Eazy, Halsey, Yo Gotti, and Sean Paul, not to mention Swedish House Mafia’s surprising reunion! You also are able to grab a glimpse of the sets of performers like Nicky Romero, Adam Beyer, Fisher, and Arty!
