IMZ Ibiza, specifically, is a three-day event featuring seminars and debates amongst some of the top leaders in the international music community. Through keynotes, interviews, panels, and technology master classes, as well as the IMS Business Report, the event has become a major talking point for worldwide media.
Let’s get to a few specifics about IMS Ibiza to talk about why this event is truly spectacular!
Mental Health Crisis
This year’s edition of IMS Ibiza actually delves into deeper core issues, one of the main ones being the mental health crisis in electronic music, which is to be debated by 20+ leading industry figures.
In the words of IMS co-founder Bed Turner, “The question that’s been asked of us after Keith Flint’s suicide is, ‘Has your industry done enough since the death of Avicii?’ And the answer is quite simply, no.”
Because of that, for the 12th edition of the forum, twenty leading industry voices, which include artists, managers, doctors, and health care experts will be united in this vital discussion. Father and founder of the Tim Bergling Foundation Kas Bergling will be joined by Madame Ghandi, Pete Tong, and Professor Green will talking about workable solutions to this growing issue. Association For Electronic Music, Remedy State presents Arete, Your Green Room, Ibiza Calm, Help Musicians, and Endel will be there as well!

IMS Legends dinner
Moving on now to one of the highlights of international music summit, the IMS Legends Dinner!
For its landmark 25th anniversary this year, the 2019 IMS Legends Award honors Javier Anadon, Ibicencan businessman and creator founder of Cafe Mambo. Cafe Mambo is known for welcoming some of the most well-renowned and recognizable artists in the entire world, also part of the annual BBC Radio 1 Ibiza Weekender. Some of the artists that have performed there include Pete Tong, Annie Mac, David Guetta, Erick Morillo, Eric Prydz, Sister Bliss, Smokin Jo, Swedish House Mafia, Sasha, NERVO, Paul Oakenfold, and Roger Sanchez to name a few!
In the words of IMS co-founder Danny Whittle, “This is one IMS Legends Award dinner no one should miss, it’s going to be one hell of a night with a huge group of people that have nothing but love for Javier and the whole Mambo family.” As a response to the award, Javier himself says, “I am blessed to have met so many amazing people during this journey, and it’s a real honour to receive this award from IMS as Cafe Mambo turns 25 years young. We have had so many fantastic moments over the years – I hope that we can celebrate all together for many more years to come!’

And the final topic we’re talking about for this IMS Ibiza episode of Clubbing Trends is their specialty, Remedy State Arete.
This is a program created back in 2017 by Ben Turner and Blaise James, promoting Deangelo’s love of the arts and a desire to support the wellbeing and personal development of the arts and entertainment industries, in cooperation with Pioneer DJ.
