There are a lot of hidden paradise on the white island but it is not easy to find a beach that isn’t so crowded during the summer. As difficult as it may seem, asking the locals for recommendations is always a great idea if you don’t know where to go to escape the busy areas of the island.

Be careful not to confuse it with Platja des Codolar as both of them bear the same name because of their pebbly coastline. Nevertheless, Platja des Codolar is a large beach in the south of the island, and Cala Codolar is a narrow cove in the southwest and one of the calmest places in Ibiza. Although this charming enclosed beach is small, it is wide enough to find a piece of sand for sunbathing.

Getting there is quite an adventure, but the beautiful emerald green ocean and crystal clear water makes it all worth it.
