Our Rave Photographies Of The Year 2025 is now open for submissions
Electronic music has always been about more than just sound—it’s also a visual experience. Behind every party, every festival, there are photographers capturing the energy, the connection, and the fleeting moments that define nightlife. Yet, these visual storytellers are often invisible, working behind the scenes, rarely paid fairly, and too often compensated with “exposure” rather than financial recognition. With Rave Photographies of the Year 2025, we want to give back to these talents.
A Tribute to the Unsung Talents of the Scene
The goal of this contest is simple: to shine a light on those who document the nightlife from behind the lens. Whether it’s a raw portrait of a raver, a behind-the-scenes moment from a DJ’s set, or the sheer intensity of a packed dancefloor, Rave Photographies of the Year 2025 seeks to celebrate those who give electronic music a visual narrative.

A Contest Open to All
Unlike traditional industry recognition, which often highlights only a select few, this contest is open to everyone. Submissions will be open for 10 days, followed by 30 days of public voting, with a leaderboard revealed halfway through the process. After that, the jury will have 10 days to select the winners, who will not only gain visibility through Clubbing TV but will also have their work showcased at the Amsterdam Dance Event in our annual studio takeover.
Beyond Exposure: Real Recognition
With Rave Photographies of the Year 2025, Clubbing TV is not just celebrating club photography—it’s challenging the way we value those who document this culture. Because without a visual memory, a scene risks fading into oblivion.
