Teksupport, New York City's premier underground events collective, has announced its upcoming event Transmoderna.
Featuring an all-night-long set by Dixon, the event will take place at the innovative ArtsDistrict Brooklyn on April 29th. Transmoderna is a hybrid collective that creates virtual exhibitions through the combination of contemporary and multimedia art, soundtracked by genre-bending sets from co-founder Dixon.
Dixon is one of the foremost flag bearers of modern electronic music and has remained a seminal figure at the intersection of music, art, and fashion. The Berlin-based techno icon is revered for the continued success of his Innervisions label, his own fashion label Together We Dance Alone, and technology platform Transmoderna, among other ventures.
Founded in 2019, Dixon’s Transmoderna sits at the intersection between electronic music and digital arts, cross-breeding visual technology development with multimedia art and top-tier house & techno selection to create mind-bending visual shows. A selection of artists has been invited to curate visual aspects of the show, which will be displayed on ArtsDistrict Brooklyn’s 360-degree projection system.
